The Australian Hindu Sporting Federation exists to promote sport, fitness and healthy living across the Hindu community in Australia.

The Australian Hindu Sporting Federation (AHSF) was founded to create a dedicated national home for sport and physical activity within the Hindu community. We believe sport is one of the most powerful tools for community wellbeing — it builds healthier bodies and minds, brings generations together, and gives young people a sense of belonging and purpose.
We work alongside Hindu diaspora organisations, temples, associations and community groups across Australia to deliver sporting activities, share practical health and fitness guidance, and create meaningful pathways for emerging athletes.
Our flagship event is a first-of-its-kind community sporting festival uniting Australia's Dharmic faith communities: Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist and Jain. Held on Sunday 6 September 2026 at the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation in Narrabeen, co-presented with the Hindu Council of Australia.
Every decision starts with what is best for our community and the people in it.
Sport is for everyone. We welcome all ages, abilities, genders and backgrounds.
We honour the cultures and traditions our communities carry, including through sport like Kho Kho.
We build pathways for young Australians to compete at the highest levels of sport.
Whether you want to compete, volunteer, coach or support — there is a place for you at AHSF. Follow us on Instagram to stay across upcoming events and opportunities.
